365: Day 81


3/22/13: Silas is not always such a good napper so we have kept him in the pack 'n play in the guest room for quiet time even though they have been sleeping in beds for a few months now. He asked me yesterday if he could sleep in "grandma's bed" so I decided to go for it and see how he would handle it. After two days of napping on the guest bed I'm hoping we've made the transition!

Auntie Eliza is in town for spring break so she came over for dinner last night. S&Z were soooo happy to see her!


We had lots of new library books so they put her to work before bed :)

Silas recently read a book called "Starting Your Own Blog", and now he is bound and determined for us to let him start his own blog! Summer Nights

As we hit the end of July we are relishing the relaxed summer nights around here. Walks to the corner store after work- Kitten snoozes in the window- Playing outside after dinner- And after dinner bike rides in the park aplenty. The best part is when they ride down the "big hill" out of the woods and we make the loop home. These are the days.

Silas, 7/26/17

The context for this post is that S&Z started two weeks of daily swimming lessons in the outdoor town pool on Monday. The beginning of this week also happened to start with two of the coldest days of the summer!
