9/3/14: Fun Wednesday photo shoot with Ta-ta!

8/19/14: When Julia arrived today Zoe was wearing this amazing get-up. It was a gorgeous afternoon so Julia took the kids to the zoo, where they enjoyed a fun afternoon of carousel rides, playing on the playground, eating ice cream, and visiting the animals! Summer rules!!!!!

8/19/14: Reading a spanish book from the library with Ta-ta.

7/22/14: Julia took the kids to a new library storytime today called 'Fizz, Boom & Art'. The kids had a BLAST!! Seriously, we have the best nanny ever!!! We are so thankful she's staying with us this fall in order to do pick-up and provide after school care!

6/10/14: When I got home from work on Tuesday Zoe was very excited to show me her PIGTAILS! Silas didn't want to miss out on any of the hair action either!

3/5/14: A very serious Silas reading books at the library with Ta-ta. I did manage to get a picture of Derek brushing Silas' hair before school on Wednesday morning. He usually has pretty bad bedhead and this is Daddy's daily domain.

2/27/14: On Thursday Julia heard on the news that Chuck E Cheese was offering free pizza for kids all day. S&Z had a blast with her at dinner!

2/4/14: Another trip to the library , this time with Ta-ta.

1/13/14: Ta-ta's back, Ta-ta's back, Ta-ta's back!!!

11/11/13: Unbelievable that it's November and S&Z still getting time at the park with Ta-ta (4:30 sunset notwithstanding)! 

10/28/13: The kids had a great time at the park with Ta-ta on Monday. There were plenty of leaves to play in!

Friday couldn't come soon enough - it was finally time to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary! This was only our 2nd time leaving the kids overnight. The first time we did it was in August of 2011, which means we were long overdue for some "us" time! After throwing around lots of ideas for where to go - we wanted to stay within about 75 minutes of Boston - we finally settled on Newburyport, MA. Located near the border of MA and NH, Newburyport is absolutely adorable. We had a great time walking around when we arrived late Friday afternoon to explore. We stayed at an adorable boutique hotel called The Garrison Inn . It is a very special place that just may be our anniversary destination in years to come! We went out for dinner at a steakhouse located in an old church that was just down the street from the hotel. All in all, it was a wonderful night away - our only complaint was that it was too short! 10/21/13: Fall fun with Ta-ta!

9/30/13: S&Z had a dentist appt on Monday. They were such great cooperators!! In order to make the appt I had to leave work early. It was really helpful that Julia brought the kids to the dental office and I just met them there! Reason 1,540,339 that we love Ta-ta!
