Silas and Zoe had the opportunity to help out with some science today by being pilot subjects in a research study in our lab! They have been able to help out with research in the past, but it's been awhile since I brought them in to see everyone. I was pretty excited when Auntie Vanessa recently asked for our help! Chuck and Vanessa, along with the help of Dr. Paulina Carullo (a pediatric neurologist who is visiting us this year from Argentina) are doing a very important study that is trying to learn more about cognitive and perceptual development in kids who have Rett Syndrome. Paulina needed some practice putting electrode nets on toddlers, so we were happy to help out this morning.
