365: Day 103- Palm Sunday

4/13/14: Last Sunday we were busy busy! In the morning we went to our neighbor friend's house to celebrate Josef's 6th birthday. Unfortunately it was a little rainy, so all the kids initially descended on the boys' playroom.

Once the rain stopped we headed outside for pizza and a bounce house.

After Josef's party we made our way to Joyce's house in Plymouth for the annual Palm Sunday celebration with Derek's family. Joyce and Darlene spearheaded another awesome egg hunt!

I love this springtime tradition!

PS: Joyce and I have collectively lost 80 pounds in the last year, so we had to get a picture of our amazing selves!

Silas' Blog

Well it's been a busy 3 years since I last posted! Stay tuned as we may have more posts coming now that it looks like I have a new contributor... Silas recently read a book called "Starting Your Own Blog", and now he is bound and determined for us to let him start his own blog! We convinced him that he should start out by drafting content and a posting calendar. We made templates this morning and he wrote his first "post" today!

Summer Nights

As we hit the end of July we are relishing the relaxed summer nights around here. Walks to the corner store after work- Kitten snoozes in the window- Playing outside after dinner- And after dinner bike rides in the park aplenty. The best part is when they ride down the "big hill" out of the woods and we make the loop home. These are the days.

The context for this post is that S&Z started two weeks of daily swimming lessons in the outdoor town pool on Monday. The beginning of this week also happened to start with two of the coldest days of the summer!
