2/10/13: I was relieved to have Derek home yesterday after the stressful weekend he had working in the storm. I decided at the last minute that we should take advantage of a Sunday together and make a Valentine's Day dinner. I pulled out a festive tablecloth and my great-grandmother's china. For the menu we settled on chicken parm meatballs, sauteed spinach and mashed potatoes, with a nice bottle of wine and red velvet whoopie pies for dessert.
After being stuck home with me all weekend, S&Z were happy to have Daddy home (and so was I!).
YAY for Sunday family dinners! It's amazing how much I appreciate them when we only get two every six weeks...
