Happy Easter!

We enjoyed spending a few hours with Derek's family today. We got the kids all dressed up for the occasion. Zoe wore a dress that my Grandma W. knitted for my cousin Lee ~ 40 years ago. Maryjane was smiling down on us today :-)


Silas was so generous with hugs upon our arrival today, even with his great-grandparents that he doesn't see that often!


Uncle Larry was so sweet and baked me a birthday cake!


While waiting for lunch to be ready, Denny and Derek took S&Z outside to see the river. Denny grew up in the house Derek's grandparents still live in, so he told us a few stories about the neighborhood as we walked. S&Z liked the "waterfall" and the "bubbles".


The kids provided plenty of entertainment for everyone!

Well it's been a busy 3 years since I last posted! Stay tuned as we may have more posts coming now that it looks like I have a new contributor... Silas recently read a book called "Starting Your Own Blog", and now he is bound and determined for us to let him start his own blog! The Best of Project 366

2012 is coming to a close and I have officially completed Project 366 ! I managed to take and post and keep track of 365 photos out of 366 total days this year. I only missed one day and it was for a pretty good cause . Believe me, these pictures don't take themselves. I shot just under 7000 pictures this year. Once I got an iPhone in March all of the pictures were taken with my phone (~ 5500 pictures!). The camera on the iPhone is really good, I always have it with me, and I like playing around with the filters and other editing tools available in photography apps like Instagram, Camera+, Diptic, and Gridditor. Since I have put so much time, love and energy into Project 366 I thought I should select a few "Best Of's". I had a great time putting this together, and I hope you enjoy these highlights as well! The Blog Book is Here!!!

My friend, Tom, told me about a website where you can order a bound copy of your blog. I've had it on my radar for awhile, but I finally just got around to making a book of the first year of entries. It starts with 'Icing on the Cake' , the last entry before they were born, and it ends with Halloween . It turned out better than I could have imagined! I cried when I opened it... One hundred ninety-four pages of love, photos, stories, and milestones!
