365: Day 318

11/15/13: Zoe and Silas were racing their bikes around the house before school this morning, and they decided to make a 'STOP' sign. We have some letter stickers so they pulled them out and got to work.


The funny part I realized later is that they didn't ask me how to spell stop - they knew how, they just put the stickers down backwards!

After nap they started racing bikes again, although this time one of them played the gatekeeper and held up the stop sign (to which they added a stoplight on the back) to indicate whether the other should go, slow down, or stop.


Reason #579 that being a twin is awesome.

Parks

We decided to get Zoe's haircut on Saturday morning at a place geared towards kids called Snip-Its . Neither Derek nor I anticipated what a meltdown Zoe was going to have. The haircut is half-assed at best and Derek will have to fix it when she's more calm. We were so traumatized that we headed to the park to get the day going on a better foot! We went back to Larz Anderson, the park where the  Psychiatry picnic was held on Thursday . It is really close to our house and is lovely and shaded. I think it's one of my new favorite spots! The kids like it too :) S&Z love playing with wood chips, so there was a lot of that! Snacks were enjoyed on the bench and I tried to get a few pictures of the haircut... The Best of Project 366

2012 is coming to a close and I have officially completed Project 366 ! I managed to take and post and keep track of 365 photos out of 366 total days this year. I only missed one day and it was for a pretty good cause . Believe me, these pictures don't take themselves. I shot just under 7000 pictures this year. Once I got an iPhone in March all of the pictures were taken with my phone (~ 5500 pictures!). The camera on the iPhone is really good, I always have it with me, and I like playing around with the filters and other editing tools available in photography apps like Instagram, Camera+, Diptic, and Gridditor. Since I have put so much time, love and energy into Project 366 I thought I should select a few "Best Of's". I had a great time putting this together, and I hope you enjoy these highlights as well!
